  • As a respected Seattle-based designer of interiors and lifestyle products, April secured investment to create Van der Pop, “luxury cannabis accessories to store, smoke, and share weed.”

  • Van der Pop launches in Seattle.

  • Van der Pop launches e-commerce. Forbes covers the brand.

  • Listening to how women use cannabis and learning the role female hormones play in its efficacy, April pivoted the Van der Pop brand to focus exclusively on cannabis as a tool to optimize women’s  well-being.

  • Woman's March; April negotiates the merger of Van der Pop with Toronto-based Tokyo Smoke, and becomes the merged company’s (HIKU) Chief Creative Officer.

  • Van der Pop ships Canadian MED cannabis to patients.
