April recognized the groundswell within her community to optimize their health and well-being with psychedelic therapy so in 2021 she launches The High Guide podcast, a show all about women changing their lives thanks to altered states.
Of Like Minds is determined to cut through the noise and make sense of the legal cannabis market, specifically for women. After her exit to Canopy Growth, OLM Founder April Pride seeded the creation of the narrative-based podcast How to Do the Pot and served as its inaugural host for the first 60 episodes.
With a point-of-view that is well-informed & well-intentioned, How to Do the Pot is a show demystifying cannabis for women. In the last half decade, the medicinal and recreational markets have exploded and we are suddenly swimming in choice — and questions.
Addressing cannabis topics relevant to the health and happiness of women, each episode covers a topic like pain management or brain science at the intersection of cannabis and well-being.
A diverse range of voices were carefully sourced to contribute experience and expertise to each topic covered, with experts outside of the cannabis industry who have incorporated the plant in their work or personal life.
To join her on this project, April invited Ellen Lee Scanlon as Co-founder and Ellen serves as the host of the show today.
