Women in the Wild

private gatherings for women

hosted by April at her Seattle home

What is Women in the Wild?

intimate, intentional, informed

An intimate gathering designed to help women gently explore in a safe, supportive setting. A four-hour experience including grounding meditation, creative practice, structured conversation, and a shared homemade vegan meal. It's a soft entry — not a ceremony, but a space to feel, reflect, and reconnect with yourself, alongside a small group of other women seeking similar connection.

Ideal for women who are:

Curious about medicine work

but don't know where to start.

Already microdosing

and want to connect with others

doing the work.

Ready for something more intentional

in their relationship with the work.

Praise for Women in the Wild

  • This is my first gathering of this type. I found the structure and exercises quite useful as provided: grounding, activities to allowed for freedom of interacting.

  • Thank you so much for creating this beautiful healing space for women.

  • I think one of the things I loved the most about this gathering is how organic and natural it felt. I imagine that every one of these events would feel slightly different, and that is part of what is magical about what you are creating.

  • Enjoyed the beginning meditation, allowing us to relax and synchronize.

  • The evening was memorable and meaningful. I had never tried. Like the control-freak that I am, I knew my "first time" had to be in a managed environment with an experienced facilitator. You absolutely provided that experience, so thank you!

  • You are a blessing! Thank you for this fascinating introduction to wonderful women.

  • The preparation communication was very well written and helpful.

legal context

Seattle is a decriminalized city for psilocybin.

The broader U.S. decriminalized footprint now includes communities representing roughly 10% of the population. This is the legal context that makes Women in the Wild possible. April operates the gatherings within this articulated legal landscape, with the same harm-reduction sensibility she has brought to eleven years of work in regulated emerging categories.

what to expect

location: Capitol Hill, Seattle

group size: 10 women | duration: 4 hours

A typical evening follows a structured arc: arrival and threshold (shoes off, water, settling in), guided meditation, an introductions exercise designed to soften habits of self-presentation, a creative practice at the table with deeper conversation, a transition to soup and a quieter room, and continuation with the cohort via WhatsApp after the evening ends.

Each woman makes her own decision about how to engage in the work.
