Founded by America’s 1st social equity license holder, JOHNNIE was made for Black women by a Black woman.

Multiple hands with manicured nails, rings, and jewelry are seen on a marble table, with one person pouring purple liquid from a bottle into two glasses. An open magazine featuring a woman in white with blue accessories is on the table. Various items including a packet labeled 'Lost Farms,' a tube of cream, and gold objects are also on the table.

purple drink

To answer a market need for Black women, JOHNNIE developed a THC beverage. In a celebratory black glass bottle, the purple liquid that it contains tastes like grape and hits like Grape Ape.

high tech

JOHNNIE Fouder Raeven Duckett worked for Adobe & Pandora before winning a cannabis delivery license in Oakland. In 2019, her experiences collided to solve a problem she faced while out on deliveries: texting customers. She developed a bot to answer common questions, and what emerged was an AI-driven app with cannabis product recommendations.
